Late last month saw California singer-songwriter Kacey Johansing release her new record No Better Time via Night Bloom Records, a record that far too many people seem to sadly be sleeping on.
Prior to its release, we shared album singles “All Of Me” and “I Try” and today we would like to remind you of one of the album standouts, “Even A Lot Feels Like Nothing.”
While the track starts out as a sparse 70s folk-indebted ballad, it sounds opens its wings and forms into a sprawling arrangement that packs a ton of power and depth that overwhelms both your emotions and senses.
