Canadian singer-songwriter Billy Raffoul recently returned with his soulful new single “What Makes a Man.” The song is taken from the new album International Hotel due out on August 28th via Universal Music / Interscope Records.
The track sees him channel a lot of the classic folk offerings that have come before him, given his own personal treatment in an emotional and moving fashion.
It was recorded during an intimate live session during lockdown in his girlfriend’s room. “What Makes a Man” sees Raffoul “speak out against systemic racism in policing.”
