The Breeders have stayed plenty busy for the past year, first returning to us last November for an intimate performance at Bowery Ballroom and then releasing their brand new album All Nerve on March 2 via 4AD.
Although we caught them a few days earlier at National Homecoming in their own hometown of Cincinnati, we couldn’t pass up a chance to see them headline a show of their own at the always great Capitol Theatre on May 2.
This show was their third in the area, following performances at both Brooklyn Steel and Terminal 5. Still, the band were in high spirits and gave a great 24-song performance featuring a large majority from All Nerve, as well as long-established classics like “Cannonball,” “No Aloha,” “Divine Hammer,” and “Do You Love Me Now?.”
Find the full setlist posted below, along with a gallery of photos from their performance.
