blondfire is the project of Los Angeles singer-songwriter Erica Driscoll who caught our attention last year with a fantastic cover of The Smiths’ “Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now.”
In August she returned with her single “Dirty Fingers,” a track about ” defying the odds and living it up, even when you’re just scraping by.” The sound captures is a vibrant one with an upbeat nature with a bit of a sun soaked atmosphere and glow, blending elements of indie rock and pop with a confident style of production that actually reminds us of some of the best singles of the early 2000s.
