Houston-based singer-songwriter Cameron Sonnier is preparing for the release of his sophomore album, Synchronicity, described as ” an evocative exploration of personal experiences and meaningful coincidences.” We previously shared lead single “Anytime” and today he has returned with “Burning To Death.”
It’s a song about “negative karma associated with aligning oneself to things not meant for us” and sees Sonnier’s natural evolution as songwriting, blurring the lines between alt-country, folk, and a bit of an experimental psych leaning that feels bold and brave, with a vibrant energy running through the tracks old school songwriting arena, into something fresh and very much of his own.
