The ever-prolific Luke De-Sciscio returned recently with Heaven, which is the fourth album he has released this year. It was recorded “in a single week following a brief period of intense learning and described as “the product of doubtlessness.”

We previously shared “Hold the Dark” and today focus on the album’s opening track, “Fortress Of Cool.” It’s a sparse and chilly isolated folk sound that has an eerie and emotionally devastating build that feels full of genuine heart and soul – as all of his songs do.
