The ever-prolific Luke De-Sciscio returned recently with Heaven, which is the fourth album he has released this year. It was recorded “in a single week following a brief period of intense learning and described as “the product of doubtlessness.”

“Hold the Dark” is a confessional slice of music that transcends the idea of what folk music is and can be. It’s a look within, but one that also casts a gaze outward into not only the world at large, but out to the cosmos.
