Laveda, the Albany-based duo of Ali Genevich (vocals/guitar) and Jake Brooks (vocals/guitar/synths) are preparing for the release of their new album, A Place You Grew Up In, which is due out April 14, via PaperCup Music. We previously shared album cut “Clean” and today hit back with follow-up single “Troy Creeps.”
The track carries a swift and anthemic indie rock/pop appeal that rises to the occasion with a meditative and melancholic glow that showcases some major songwriting talent. The emotionally resonant spirit in the are is carried deep from the grandeur instrumentation and powerful vocals from Genevich.
