Nashville-based duo Passion Fruit Boys are gearing up for the release of their self-titled album, which will be released on October 7 via Telefono.
Following lead single “Silver Scar”, the group has shared the follow-up single “Looking For A Friend.” The song harnesses the influence and energy of the classic storytelling power of alt-country and folk, with a bit of a Houndmouth and Hiss Golden Messenger quality to it. Swift and smooth but also brutally raw, fitting into the deep-cutting nature of the album is described essentially as a “break-up album.”
