Shady Cove is the team-up of Portland, Oregon-based ongwriters and multi-instrumentalists Sarah Rose and Sarah Nienaber who caught our attention in May with their debut single “Summer Days.”
They’ve since followed it up with “High Divide” a song described as being “about the impact that dreams in childhood can have on one’s dreams as an adult.
It showcases what the duo do so well: navigate the world of gentle folk with sun-soaked melodies and harmonies, while also delivering a rather smart pop chorus that sneakily gets stuck in your head along with the vibrant electronic grooves.
