Many Voices Speak – “Nothing’s Gone”

Last week saw Many Voices Speak, the project of Swedish musician Matilda Mård, release her sophomore album Gestures via Strangers Candy. 

“Nothing’s Gone” is a gorgeous and enchanting dream-pop ballad, following the strength of advanced singles “Within Reach” and “Seat For Sadness.” The song is about “coping with the physical presence of something that is no longer there.” The track is a slow-burning yet devastating melancholic offering that blends a haunting atmosphere with a heartbreaking vocal performance that adds up to something majestic.
