Charlottesville-based dream poppers Stray Fossa are gearing up for the release of their sophomore album Closer Than We’ll Ever Know this summer via Born Losers Records and have already given us the lead single “Transpiring”.
They have since shared the slick “Better Late Than…” a track that combines lush dreamy electronic and dream pop elements with a bit of a psych-indie groove and elements that make us recall those glorious days of chillwave (rip).
As the band describes “Better Late Than…”:
The song points out how sometimes those closest to you have more realistic expectations for you than you have for yourself, for better or worse.
