Carlottesville-based dream poppers Stray Fossa are gearing up for the release of thier sophomore album Closer Than We’ll Ever Know this summer via Born Losers Records and have given us the first taste with the very lush new single “Transpiring”.
The track features some colorful and dreamy arrangements that call to mind those good old days of chillwave that took blogs by storm in the late 2000s, bands such as Washed Out, Neon Indian, and a bit of Small Black. There are golden arrangements that feel like you’re floating away on a cloud, getting us excited for the much better days that await this summer.
