Hotspit is a DIY indie rock outfit from Richmond, Virginia that first came across our radar with their lovely single “Obsessive Care.” They have once again tapped into all the best things about the 90s indie scene with their follow-up offering, “Wane Mouth.”
The single captures a soft and gentle feel with a heartbreaking vocal performance, along with shimmering guitar work that transports you to a different era completely. The song has a stronghold on your emotions, delivering a sound reminiscent of bands such as Snail Mail, while also carving out a path very much of their own along the way.
