Yndling is the dream-pop project of Norwegian artist Silje Espevik who caught our attention last fall. She has returned by kicking off 2022 with her self-titled debut EP.
The track kicks off with the single and grand opener “Like Love Is Real” a track that blends the dreamy 90s shoegaze and dream-pop elements of bands of the past, with the charm of modern recreations from acts like Hatchie. There is also a most artful and interesting approach that reminds of classic acts of the genre like Stereolab and even My Bloody Valentine.
