Following their debut single “Meet Me Halfway”, Iowan-based elison, the duo of Marissa Kephart and Scott Yoshimura have since returned with their equally charming follow-up, “Hopes & Horoscopes.”
Although the single tackles some of our bad habits and vices, it still radiates great positive energy and a mix of indie rock shimmer and some pop-friendly vocals. But the combination of these aspects is perfect and seamless, with a bit of a shine to it that feels made to blast out of the speakers during a warm summer day.
