Nari is a Bay Area indie-pop artist whose previously single “Pony” we shared last November. She recently returned with another winner with the equally charming “Lower My Expectations,” released via Park The Van.
The track channels some old school pop elements with an honesty that shines through well with the vintage sounding production and lovely vocals. There’s a bit of Tennis felt here, which is always a good thing.
The track is about “navigating mixed advice on love and deciding how much disappointment your heart can take.”
