Nite Tides’ is the project of musician Ryan Poole, who has had an interesting year. It started with a major family trauma, a tornado, and then, of course, COVID 19. But after seeing a therapist things seemed to turn around. He met a girl, bought a classic car, and then started the band. He’s now feeling happy and you can feel this feeling shining through quite bright on his new single “Forever Baby.”
The track is about this year and it uses the image of California as a metaphor “for escaping into joy.” There are major California vibes sprinkled throughout the joyful track, as well as some more modern influences such as dreamy jangly indie rock acts like Daywave.
Although summer is beginning to fade away, we have “Forever Baby” to keep it alive a little bit longer. Find it streaming below.
