Eastbound Buzz delivers the sort of heartland indie rock that feels distinctly American yet that band call Australia home. On previous singles “Every 15” and “Secondhand” they carry the torch of acts like Springsteen and The War On Drugs, but offer their own take on this brand of rock.
They continue this journey on their latest single, “Waiting to Happen.” The track has a bit of a wide-spanning emotional country flair to it that reminds of some of the latest work of Jason Isbell. The track also carries the weight of an important topic as it “details the feelings of anxiety and tension that come with delaying the inevitable.”
