Family Mart is a new band out of Austin, Texas featuring former members previously of Fanclub and Letting Up Despite Great Faults.
“For Eric” is their debut song which finds a good middle ground between twee indie rock and a lush dreamy sound dripping in nostalgia and melancholy. It reminds a bit of some of the early work of late 2000s indie acts like The Pains of Being Pure At Heart.
