Bendrix Littleton is the writing and recording project of Nashville-via-Dallas musician Bennett Littlejohn. He’s just shared hos mew song “Smoke” which is taken from his upcoming album Deep Dark South.
“Smoke” is a meditative and personal folk-rocker with a mysterious and rather sad atmosphere to it, but a pretty one at that. At 2-minutes, it flies by but makes every single second count. The track was “inspired by a mortician he held a conversation with at a bar in Dallas” and is about “appreciating a relationship only after it’s gone.”
Enjoy a listen to “Smoke” below.
