John Vanderslice is back with a new track entitled “Lure Mice Condemn Erase” that is set to appear on his upcoming EP Eeeeeeeep, which is currently expected for release on August 21st.
During the early weeks of quarantine, with no access to his studio, the longtime analog obsessive was pushed to make his very first record entirely on a computer. This has resulted in some of “his most deconstructive work to date, stretching his freak folk out to include elements of electronica, and even a brief moment that can only be described as minimal house.”
“Lure Mice Condemn Erase” showcases this new age Vanderslice, which still carries a lot of the ingredients that made the songwriter one of the more underrated forces in the game.
