Morisse Monty is the solo moniker of Belgium-based producer Jussi De Nys who makes “colorful moody sounds spread over pulsating grooves, making the perfect bed for intimate vocals and sweet melodies.”
He’s just shared “Be Me,” the first single off their upcoming new EP. It’s a dreamy slice of cool collected indie pop that has a psychedelic spirit to it and some awesome strings that play it all out.
As he describes it, it’s a “song about picking yourself back up! To lift the spirit of someone who needs it. ” There’s a bit of a chillwave Phantogram element to it that certainly works to its favor.
