Steakfry is a garage rock musician from Reno, Nevada who is “bringin back the old style of rock n roll.”
He does just that on his new offering “Fallin In Love With A Stranger,” the sort of loose West Coast rock and roll effort that used to litter blogs such as this back in the day. It’s got a raw spirit that channels the early unpolished days of Wavves with a bit of a Black Lips swagger.
It’s the sort of rock and roll that we could use right about now, no beating around the bush or pretense. Just good vibes and the urge to chug a few beers and throw them at whoever is closest to you.
