Icelandic duo Hugar have returned with their lovely new single “A New Renaissance.” It’s set to appear on their new album The Vasulka Effect: Music for the Motion Picture, due out on October 2nd via Sony Music Masterworks.
It’s a soaring and pretty instrumental piece that sounds like the sort of beautiful film score set to accompanying a powerful emotional scene. This is the album’s opener, which most certainly sets the mood and has me curious about what else can possibly follow in its footsteps.
