Jaguar Sun is the solo project of Ontario-based multi-instrumentalist Chris Minielly. Inspired by bands such as STRFKR, Youth Lagoon, and Panda Bear, he crafts dreamy pop-minded soundscapes with an experimental nature.
He’s preparing to release his debut album This Empty Town this summer, full of a colleciton of 8-songs that speaks to “the loss of relationships and home town nostalgia.”
This is felt on his new dream-laden single “Those Days.” The tracks cast a warm feeling of sincerity and nostalgia that feels like a melancholic dream full of memories of the past, present and future, all rolled up into one. The sort of dream where you wake up and wonder if that really happened to you.
