Melbourne songwriter Leah Senior is signed to King Gizzard & the Wizard Lizard’s label Flightless Records, who will release her brand new album The Passing Scene.
Her sound is one that taps into a throwback sound of a completely different era, making psych and pop go hand-in-hand in a way that seems virtually effortless to her, reminding us a bit of work of retro-pop revivalists such as Weyes Blood as well as classic influences such as a little ol’ band named The Beatles.
“Evergreen” is the latest single shared from the album an upbeat and joyful baroque-pop offering that showcases her ability to make old classic sounds of the genre sound revived and refreshing.
