Peter Bjorn and John will return next March with their new album Endless Dream, which will be released via Ingrid. The band has released two tracks from the album already with “Rusty Nail” and “Reason To Be Reasonable,” and today we share the third track shared from the album, “Idiosyncrasy.”
The track takes a personal approach on love with a sensitive and held-back nature that drives it’s point forward in a successful fashion. When asked about the writing of the track, the band’s John Eriksson explained:
“I think I wanted to write the ultimate love song, a love song that everyone can relate to. Okay, maybe not everybody but definitely some people. When I wrote it, I was listening to a lot of blues from the 20s and 30s so this track shaped itself into some kind of odd, self-aggrandising blues.”
