Peter Bjorn and John will celebrate their 20th anniversary as a band in 2020 with the release of their ninth full-length studio album Endless Dream due out March 13th via Ingrid. The band has shared “Rusty Nail,” the first single from the record that came paired with the album’s announcement and news of a tour in support of it (including a performance in NYC on April 10th at Webster Hall).

“Rusty Nail” sees the band flash that expected indie pop-rock sound that they have made their bread and butter for so long now, but while also adding new elements that shine brightly. They began their recording sessions immediately after their previous one, Darker Days. The band’s Peter Morén went on to explain:

“We were in a good place, it’s the light to the darkness – the day to the night. This time the tone is bright. It’s about people trying to find colors in this dark world.”
