Singer-songwriter Henry Jamison will return with his new album Gloria Duplex in February via Akira Records.
Earlier this year we caught opening sets from him at both Rough Trade NYC and Murmrr Theatre and was left touched by his impressive natural songwriting ability.
This comes through again on his newly released singles ahead of the album. The first is “Boys,” a warm and wide-spanning folk anthem that starts as a gentle refrain and slowly but surely blossoms into something more. “Gloria” is equally as pretty with a vivid sense of storytelling that is only fulfilled by a certain sort of talent, the sort that Jamison clearly possesses.
