On September 8, The National performed a special performance at Bowery Ballroom. But that was just show number one at Bowery that night, as only a few hours later they shifted gears for a late-night sold out performance from Diet Cig.
The duo of Alex Luciano and Noah Bowman have had an incredible rise over the past few years, and continue to tour hard in support of their debut album Swear I’m Good At This (released via Frenchkiss Records). Their Bowery show was their biggest yet (we last saw them at Baby’s All Right, both early and late) and the fact that it sold out tell me that this is just the beginning of an exciting career for this duo.
