Earlier tonight Wild Nothing played an intimate show at Baby’s All Right. It was their first show in New York since their Converse Rubber Tracks performance at Music Hall of Williamsburg in May. The used the night to share many new songs, which frontman Jack Tatum later shared were from the bands new album Life Of Pause, which will be released on February 19, 2016, via Captured Tracks.
That wasn’t the only announcement. Tatum then held up a 7″ record (mine seen above) and excitedly told us that everyone in the audience would be given one of the records, free of charge. The 7″ features two new songs called “TV Queen” and “To Know You,” both presumably off of Life Of Pause. The 7″ were handed out to the crowd after the show, by Captured Track staff members including founder Mike Sniper.
As it turns out, both songs have been added to stream on spotify tonight, giving all the fans unable to grab one of the 7″ a chance to check out the songs. They’re sounding just as great as they did live, taking their sound to the next level. We’re left in hard anticipation of getting the full thing in a few short months.
Head to Spotify now to stream the two new singles.
