It’s always a pleasure to see the ever growing Danish pop star MØ rise to the occasion, no matter how big the stage. She’s come a long way since playing our CMJ party in 2012, now able to command an audience at festivals such as Boston Calling.
She’s probably better suited for a late night performance, but she still worked the midday crowd to a frenzy, getting the party started with relative ease. It certainly helps that her songs are big and pop-minded in all the right ways, and that she is an enthusiastic performer who can constantly be seen running across the stage, and going in for her routine crowd surf.
MØ is building quite the audience along the way, and will be a staple at music festivals for a long time coming. Can’t wait to see what she does on her eventual second album, which will surely take her to even bigger things.
