It’s been four years since The New Pornographers previous album, Together. So it’s good news to hear that they will release their new album Brill Bruisers on August 26 via Matador Records. The album does include both Neko Case and Dan Bejar

This is a celebration record. After periods of difficulty, I am at a place where nothing in my life is dragging me down and the music reflects that.
This vibe is certainly felt throughout their fantastic comeback single (and title track) “Brill Bruisers”, which is just classic New Pornographers in every sense. Big bristling riffs over collaborative vocals that unite for some colorful moments throughout the tracks awesome run. They’re big in full swing.
