Last week Cat Power released “Ruin” her first new single in a long time, taken from her upcoming album, Sun. Today NPR made the albums opening track “Cherokee” available to listen.
Painful lyrics of heartbreak hang on the walls of “Cherokee”, which still manages to maintain an upbeat tempo throughout. Head over to NPR, hit “Hear The Discussion” and head to the 17:00 minute mark to hear the song.
