Sun Sister are from Fitchburg, Massachusetts and are soon to release their new EP, Rich American White Kidz, on cassette.
The EP are 4 smart songs that show the promise of a young band hungry to make it. Their sound wears multiple influences that should attract all kinds of listeners. I was immediately sold on lead track “Growing ur hair out”, and found the rest of the EP incredibly easy to listen.
There’s a throwback quality that surrounds their sound, guiding them towards their own sound. The band’s facebook page started around November 2011, so we’re catching them pretty early on. Don’t sleep on Sun Sister, you’re likely to regret it. Plus the music rules.
