Death From Above have dropped the 1979 from their name but the Canadian rock duo of Jesse F. Keeler and Sebastien Grainger have kept everything else about the band the same. They released thier third album (and first as just Death From Above) Outrage! Is Now earlier this year via Last Gang Records/Warner Bros. Records.
They brought their U.S. tour in support of the new record back to us here in New York for a performance at Brooklyn Steel on October 25. This was our first time seeing them since their joint tour with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club last year and the duo delivered a typically rocking performance of songs both old and new that had the crowd moving with them all the way.
