Mothers are the sort of band who thrive in the live setting. Their debut album When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired (which was released earlier this year via Grand Jury Music) makes an impact, but it’s a more delicate, hushed tone that what you get from their live performance, which has much more bite.
We saw them earlier in the year at Berlin, as well as CMJ last year. They stopped back in New York on April 28, for a sold out performance at Baby’s All Right. Our photographer Rachel Barrish was there to capture all the action. Find her photos of Mothers performance that night posted below, along with openers Palm and Vundabar.
