Denver indie rock trio Barbara returned with their new album, SO THIS IS LIVING, back in April, featuring tracks like single and title track “so this is living?”
The track featuring a groovy bassline with a cinematic style of production and atmosphere that feels like a hazy trip through a scorching hot desert. The track has a bit of a Warpaint-esque feel to it, that is actually “inspired initially by “Doodle Bob” from “Spongebob Squarepants”, and “explores what it would feel like to suddenly come alive after living on a page.”
