Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Dash Hammerstein returned with new album, Franklin, this spring via AWAL / Wild Apples Records.
One of the highlights from the record is “A Clean House”, a smooth blend of crafty pop songwriting that is described by Hammerstein as, “a simple and locked-in ode to domesticity, routines and the occasional breaking of them.”
There are some 70s singer-songwriter qualities with a smooth delivery that just has a natural knack for storytelling and smart pop hooks that finds a way to sneakily get stuck in your head.
