Brooklyn-based musician Justin Lisa returned earlier this year with single “Phases”, a steady-handed groovy slice of rock that feels very early days NYC rock in the vein of The Strokes.
It just so happens that the single is produced by The Strokes’ early days producer Gordon Raphael, that captures that effortless rock sound that in punctuated by Lisa’s earnest vocal delivery and approach that is just a smooth and warm song that is tailor-made for listening all summer long.
