The Tallinn-based instrumental math rock quartet Kaschalot returned in April with their new album, Anemoia. The record features themes of “growth, resilience, and transformation.”
“Elsewhere” is a super-charged slice of math rock with some biting guitar work and a heightened sense of interplay, with some proggy moments that have traces of acts like The Mars Volta and Explosions In The Sky, while carving out avenues very much of its own state of being.
