Connor Pryce is a singer-songwriter who earlier this year caught our attention with his single “Poor Man’s Tokyo.”
The track is a throwback to some big time 70s rock and roll and classic rock, with some chugging anthemic power pop riffs and vocals that remind us of bands like Cheap Trick and even Fountains Of Wayne. It feels utterly timeless and full of life – while also packing a ton of feelings of melancholy.
Speaking on the track, they add:
Because of active duty military obligations I have been forced to take my relationship long distance. This is a track about the struggles of long distance relationship, the feeling of longing for and missing somebody, and how distance makes the heart fonder.
