Seattle/Los Angeles rising singer-songwriter Gnat released their new EP It better be perfect earlier this month, a body of work that “explores the complex landscapes of disappointment, emotional vulnerability, and personal growth.”

Opening the EP is the vulnerable and personal “Romeo Mania”, an intimate slice of folk that bares it all on the line with some haunting levels of confession and intimacy that is soul piercing – emulating the work of Big Thief and Adrianne Lenker.

Then there’s the equally emotionally stirring “Fill’, an equally as touching slice of indie folk that delivers its message in a moving hushed fashion that is delicate and heartbreaking.
