Yonah is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter and producer based in New York who released new EP, Empire Light, earlier this year.
Opening cut and title track “Empire Light” has a bit of a indie folk and pop combination in the vein of Del Water Gap that showcases his natural ability of crafting an infectious pop song that still strikes a significant emotional chord.
The same can be said about “what a thrill!”, an equally transfixing slice of indie pop and rock with a tight delivery that brings us back to some 90s alt rockers with some Fountains of Wayne-esque power pop hooks.
