Brit-pop trio Unbelievable Truth formed in Oxford, England in 1994, named after the Hal Hartley film and feature singer/guitarist Andy Yorke (younger brother of Thom Yorke, bassist Jason Moulster, guitarist Jim Crosskey, and drummer Nigel Powell.

Earlier this year they returned with their new EP, Citizens Band, featuring tracks like its closing track and single, “Madison.” The track captures a feeling of “hurt and regret” and taps into a reflective and melancholic mindset, one with a ton of pain on the mind, trying to get back on the mend.

Speaking on the track Yorke adds:

“Some of the new songs have found me looking back at the past and some moments in my life which have had a really big impact on me. It comes with getting older, I guess. Madison is about just how badly two broken people can hurt each other, even if they don’t mean to.”
