London-based shoegazers Menaura have recently shard “DRM”, a single off of their upcoming debut album, due out sometime later this year.
“DRM” is a sensual and meditative slice of dreamy shoegaze, in a lush and moody ballad form. Gorgeous and tender with some pretty vocals and guitar work, one that captures a spaceous and contemplative feeling. This is not accident, as the band describe the song as about “a universal feeling of disconnection from reality one can experience through grief, anxiety or lack of purpose.”
