Fime is a Los Angeles trio that was Jay Som’s former backing band who then ventured off on their own. Their preparing the release of their new album this fall, and have recently shared one of its latest singles “Better Half of a Dollar.”
Inspired by the true story of the absurdity of being offered a 75¢ raise in a city like Los Angeles – the track features a fierce intense blend of garage rock and punk with a thrashing hard hitting energy to it. The track features blistering guitar riffs, equally manic vocals, and free spirited “I don’t give a fuck” energy which is exactly what we need right about now – equal parts Fucked Up and early FIDLAR.
