Opera is a lo-fi indie rock revival / noise pop band out of Massachusetts that has been crafting their sound for over a decade.
The group has returned with their new EP, Forget, which was released via Broken Palace Records. It’s closing track and single “Tetherball” is a highlight off the record, a dreamy indie pop charmer that has a distinct romantic feeling about it in the air, flirting with the sort of melancholic power of a well-placed song in a classic 80s coming of age film. It just has this larger than life grand feeling to it that hits all the right notes.
