New Jersey dream pop act Royal Blush have returned with single “Ice Age”, taken ahead of a new 5-song EP.
rousing dream pop with a blend of 90s jangle pop with a spirited pop shine and luster to it that features a powerhouse vocal performance that radiates with an authentic sense of emotional sincerity. There’s a real radiant uplifting feeling of hope and positivity, that was actually born out of the pandemic.
Speaking on the track, the band adds:
Ice Age is a longing for the melting of a “stuck” world. The long writing and band-forming processes brought up questions like “will the world wait for me?” and “will things get better?” After a five year surge of writing and recording and re-recording, the present finally feels aligned with the urges in our hearts.
